Playstation 3 VS XBOX 360
This may be the most juvenile blog ever posted by an adult over 25. Maybe over 16. But here is my dilemma. On my Christmas list for Santa will be a video game system. Not for kids, or nieces and nephews, but for me. Yes, 45 yr old me. Husbands you know where I am coming from. So I ask for your input. What should I ask Santa for, an XBOX 360, or PLAYSTATION 3?
I'll play mainly sports games on them, Madden Football, Hockey, maybe a Formula 1 racing game. My house may be the last in America to get a video game system, so I would love to hear your experiences and recommendations. Just click "comments" and send me the scoop. I promise to tell Santa to put you on his "nice" list for taking the time!

For my money, there's nothing better than Pong on the Atari 2600.
Haha, there is nothing wrong with treating yourself to a video game system, Rob! Especially these days, considering that you can also do things like surf the web on them, watch movies, and more.
The PS3 and Xbox 360 both have their advantages and disadvantages... if you like to play sports games online you might want to pick the 360 since it has a stronger online system (although be prepared to pay a subscription fee). The PS3 has a free but weaker online system. Practically every sports game is available on both systems so that shouldn't be a problem. If you watch lots of movies then you should go with the PS3 since Blu-ray has already been declared the winner by the movie companies. If you'd like to surf the web from your TV you'd also want to choose the PS3. There really isn't a wrong choice though... which system makes the better choice depends on how exactly you plan on using the system.
