Duffy


I haven't been this excited about a new artist or song in a long time. You are starting to hear us play "Mercy" by an artist named Duffy. The song is incredible. The video makes it even better, much a like a American Bandstand performance you would have seen on American Dreams. Very Hairspray.


At first watch you can see how she was influenced by British music shows of the '60's, and why she was is being referred to as "the next Dusty Springfield."


Check out the video for "Mercy" here. And please watch her video for Warwick Avenue as well. I'm betting that when she stops singing and tries to wave off continuing the film, the director said "Keep going, we'll edit later," knowing it was going to be a great one take event.
